Collecting of data - Legitimate Interest 

Darlun TV has a secure database of historic and current clients and contacts of those we have had mutual liaisons with and whose details (name, company, job title, contact details) we have entered into a contacts database for our own personal in-house reference. Sensitive or personal data is never collected nor processed. Nor is any data shared outside of Darlun TV. 

Privacy is very important to us. We will only use your personal data in a way that is fair to you and in a clear, honest and transparent way. We will only collect your personal data where it is necessary for us to do so and if it is relevant to our dealings with you. 

It is your right to request what details we have stored about you (please note this is only ever, as above, your name, job title, company name, contact details and may list the contact we have had with you i.e. contribution during filming; specified an interest in filming at a future date, or work we have conducted for you, for example. This information is stored purely so that we can continue to offer a consistent, professional, high level of customer service – your data is never processed in any way nor shared outside of Darlun TV). Of course, you can however, request that this information is permanently deleted. Should you wish to request the information we have stored on you or request that your data is permanently deleted, please email post@darlun.tv with the subject line ‘GDPR Request.’ 

We require and collect such data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way which might reasonably be expected as part of running our business and which does not materially impact the rights, freedom or interests of those whose data has been stored. Your data is never collected to be processed in any way and is never shared with third parties.

Any communication through external social media platforms that we participate on are subject to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively. Users are advised to use social media platforms wisely and communicate / engage upon them with due care and caution in regard to their own privacy and personal details. We will never ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms and encourage users wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact us by telephone or email. Our website may use social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to the social media platform in question. Users are advised before using such social sharing buttons that they do so at their own discretion and note

that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page respectively through your social media platform account. Through our social media platform accounts we may share web links to relevant web pages. By default some social media platforms shorten lengthy URLs (web addresses).
