Deadline has now passed.
It's an exciting time for television production company Darlun Limited and Post Production House Argol. Since we set up in Caernarfon 3 years ago, we have produced and edited many popular television series such as Gwesty Aduniad, Ysgol Ni Maesincla, Helo Syrjeri and many more. We are a small crew, but over the coming months there are several new projects planned for S4C, BBC Wales and BBC network, and we plan to expand. We are therefore seeking an organized and conscientious person to be our Office Manager, who will be the backbone of both companies' activities. You will ensure the efficient and orderly running of the office and you will help to oversee our financial arrangements and assist with human resources.
Main duties:
Finance Asssitant
Invoicing customers and paying suppliers
Processing income and expenditure invoices using Sage accounting software (training provided)
Work with our accountants to prepare all relevant VAT, Tax, Payroll and pension information
Assist with Human Resources
Work with the Managing Directors to ensure that staff training requirements, such as first aid training and working safely on television productions, are fulfilled.
Coordinate and administer the recruitment processes
Co-ordinate induction processes for new staff, and oversee work experience placements
Work with the Managing Directors to co-ordinate and administer working agreements, ensuring the necessary documentation is collected and processed in accordance with Data Protection legislation.
Administration
Act as the main point of contact for general enquiries
Ensure that all filing work, both paper and electronic, complies with our data protection guidelines
To carry out the day-to-day administration of the office, including arranging the maintenance of office equipment
Act as the main contact for the companies serving the office eg. a cleaning company to keep the building in the best possible condition.
Collaborate and negotiate with external suppliers, including contracting equipment leases, insurance renewals, refuse collection, recycling etc. Also, coordinate regular building checks eg. device testing, fire safety etc.
The Ideal Person
Someone who has experience in administration / finance and can use Word and Excel software.
You will have excellent organizational, planning and information technology skills.
You will be able to adapt to different situations, being a reliable person who can maintain confidentiality.
You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
